Todd Duren is a graphic designer and weekend upcycling warrior. He salvages items that have lost their purpose and transforms them into something beautiful and new. It is a holistic and environmentally aware practice that is part of his own Cherokee/Celtic spirituality.
These particular pieces were once part of an electrical system and have had electricity coursing through them. Todd received them as scrap, but saw the beauty of taking them back to their most pure form: copper. Wearing these as is allows for the health benefits of copper; however, all pieces can be clear-coated to resist oxidization. To clean uncoated pieces, simply dip in boiling salted vinegar for ten seconds, rinse and dry.
